Gudivada Tomato Rasam 07/02/2010
This is one of the favorite food in South India. It is good for digestion purposes. Here is the easy way to prepare rasam. I tried this recipe and got good results. . step 1: Take 5-6 tomatoes (depending on the serving quantity) and boil them in water . step 2: Put some tamarind and 4-5 red chillies in it and dry it after 10 minutes. . step 3: Now put them in the mixer/grinder . step 4: Pour some water if it is too solid . step 5: Do tampering/talimpu in other bowl and and pour the juice from the mixer/grinder into it. Add a spoon sugar and two-three spoons of rasam powder and again boil it. . step 6: Now a one spoon of coriander powder and two spoons of salt (depends on taste). Atlast add cilantro/kothimera leaves. Finally, Rasam came as it is on the cover of the MTR rasam powder packet These are some of the screen shots while preparing rasam. Add Comment | Breezings
