Exploring IMAX 07/02/2010
IMAX Screen size is the biggest of all the movie screens. Along with screen size, the projector size and the film size are also bigger. Unlike the normal projection system, IMAX has the vacuum system. This pumps the visuals from the negative of the film to the screen vertically. Generally theaters have the horizontal projection. The discs are with huge diameter and the film is placed on them. There are two types of IMAX theaters. One is the normal flat huge screen and the other is dome theater.
