Times Square New York 09/17/2010
Times Square is the biggest business inter connection site in the midtown Manhattan, which stands as an icon of New York City. It is surrounded by huge skyscrapers where a partial part of sky is visible. Sunrays fall on us only in the noon. It is often called “The Crossroads of the World” because we can see different people around the world with diverse culture. We can watch the headquarters and offices of several fortune 500 companies in the sky scrapers. It is famous for the theatre and arts. We can find many digital screens on the buildings which displays their brands. As the city never sleeps, Lots and lots of people are seen on the streets of Times Square every day; double the people are seen in the weekends here and pass their time. New York Police Department (NYPD) has a strong security to protect the people. Times Square welcomes you with all the available brands in the world to shop. The New Year celebrations of New York City are held at the Times Square every year. A crystal ball will be launched at the midnight of the Dec 31st. Besides the New Year eve people celebrate Valentine’s Day and Halloween day. Strangely, I found open top rickshaws for a ride, which are commonly found in South Asia. During the nights, it is beautiful to see the colorful lights around you. It’s one of the worth watching experience for the lifetime. Add Comment Reply on Twitter 08/22/2010

IMAX Screen size is the biggest of all the movie screens. Along with screen size, the projector size and the film size are also bigger. Unlike the normal projection system, IMAX has the vacuum system. This pumps the visuals from the negative of the film to the screen vertically. Generally theaters have the horizontal projection. The discs are with huge diameter and the film is placed on them. There are two types of IMAX theaters. One is the normal flat huge screen and the other is dome theater. The dome theaters have a concave screen and the movie is really interesting. Here are the some screen shots of the IMAX Dome Theater in Birmingham, Alabama, U.S.A.
